Our Accessibility Commitment
Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: August 30, 2026
Last Updated: August 30, 2026
Our Commitment
One Square Meter is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for everyone.
We believe that people should be able to access our information, communicate with our organization and engage with our services regardless of ability or the technology they use.
We are committed to identifying, preventing and removing accessibility barriers across our digital experiences and, where applicable, our physical and service environments.
Our accessibility practices are intended to support applicable Canadian accessibility requirements, including requirements that may apply to us under provincial or federal accessibility legislation.
Our Accessibility Standard
We are working toward making our website conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
We aim to design and maintain our website so that users can:
Navigate the website using a keyboard;
Use assistive technologies such as screen readers;
Understand the structure and content of our pages;
Access information without relying solely on colour;
Resize or zoom content where supported;
Navigate links, forms and interactive elements effectively;
Access meaningful text alternatives for relevant images and media; and
Receive information in formats that support their individual accessibility needs.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. Some content, documents or third-party technologies may not yet fully meet our target standard, and we continue to identify and address barriers as they arise.
Accessible Communication
If you require information or communication from One Square Meter in an accessible format, please contact us.
We will work with you to understand your requirements and provide or arrange an accessible format or communication support, where reasonably possible and required by applicable law.
We will not charge a person more for an accessible format solely because it is provided in an accessible format where applicable accessibility legislation prohibits such charges.
Accessibility Feedback
We welcome feedback about the accessibility of our website, services and communications.
If you encounter a barrier or have a suggestion for improving accessibility, please contact:

When providing feedback, you may wish to include:
The page or service where you encountered the barrier;
The type of accessibility barrier;
The technology or device you were using, if relevant; and
Your preferred method of communication.
You are not required to provide personal information beyond what is reasonably necessary for us to respond to your request.
Alternative Formats and Communication Supports
We recognize that accessibility needs vary.
Depending on the nature of your request, we may provide information through an alternative accessible format or communication method, such as:
Accessible electronic documents;
Plain-text information;
Large-print materials;
Telephone communication;
Email communication; or
Other reasonable communication supports appropriate to the circumstances.
If a requested format cannot reasonably be provided in its original form, we will work with you to identify an appropriate alternative where required.
Physical Accessibility
Where One Square Meter operates or controls physical locations that are subject to applicable accessibility requirements, we are committed to meeting those requirements and to providing accessible customer service.
If you require an accessibility accommodation when visiting or interacting with our organization, please contact us in advance where possible so that we can make appropriate arrangements.
Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is not a one-time project.
We will continue to review our website and digital communications, identify barriers, consider accessibility during design and development, and improve our practices as technology, standards and applicable Canadian accessibility requirements evolve.
We also recognize the importance of feedback from people with disabilities in identifying barriers and improving accessibility.
Applicable Requirements
Accessibility requirements vary depending on the province or territory, the nature of an organization, its workforce and whether it falls under federal jurisdiction.
Where applicable, One Square Meter will comply with the accessibility laws and standards governing its operations.
For example, Ontario’s accessibility framework includes requirements relating to accessible information and communications and, for qualifying organizations, public websites and web content.
